How much are your classes?
We have a few different programs to choose from however we do have programs starting from $65 a month and up. The best way to determine which program is best for you is to meet with an instructor and watch or participate in a class. This will help to see if we are the right school to help meet your goals. There is no obligation or pressure to join, just give us a call and we will be happy to meet with you.
How many days should I attend classes?
We recommend students to attend at least two classes per week, however the more the better. Our programs offer unlimited classes. However, we do have a once per week program for students who are really stressed for available time.
What do I have to wear for class?
If you are just trying out the class you may wear loose jogging pants and t-shirt. Students who are enrolled in classes must wear a Karate Gi (uniform). You may purchase this right through this website or at our studio.
Do you test your students and are the ranks certified?
Yes, we do test our students, however we do not pressure students to test. All students move at their own pace, and once a student has completed a set list of requirements then that student will be ready for testing. All our belt ranks are certified through the International Bushido Renmei a governing martial arts organization our studio is apart of.
Are students required to participate in tournaments?
No, we are not a tournament driven school. We believe in helping you achieve your goal for training. If tournaments are in your interest then we will work with you and help you to prepare for tournaments and go with you for coaching and support. However if you are not taking classes to focus on tournament training you will never feel pressured into joining one.
Are parents allowed to watch class?
YES! We encourage and welcome parents to stay and watch their kids during their training. It is a great bonding experience, and helps students to feel even more accomplished when they do something really cool or learn a new move while mommy or daddy is there to see them.
